CT Senior Radiographer

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic registered CT Radiographer, for a 12‑month maternity cover, to work in close conjunction with the CT Operational Lead Radiographers, CT Modality Lead and the wider team at our CT unit at Mile End Hospital which is part of the Community Diagnostics Centre. The post‑holder will participate in the effective running of the CT department under the direction of the senior staff, ensuring delivery of high quality patient care.

In liaison with the senior radiographers the post holder will provide supervision of junior staff, students and assistant practitioners.

• Participate in the effective running of the CT department.
• Ensure delivery of high quality patient care.
• Provide supervision of junior staff, students and assistant practitioners.

• Preferably have at least two years’ experience of working within CT and at least 2 years of post‑qualifying experience.
• Excellent communication and computer skills are essential.
• Good organisational skills, good working relationships and the motivation to demonstrate how you can motivate others within the team.
