Overview

NHS Lothian Staff Bank is looking to recruit experienced Biomedical Scientists. The Staff Bank enables flexible working via a range of shifts that can be booked online or by phone. We are looking for individuals who are committed to the shifts booked, can provide an exceptional level of patient care and consistently demonstrate and deliver the values of the organisation.

Band 6 – Specialist Biomedical Scientist (Blood Science/Biochemistry/Hematology). After a suitable staff bank probation period and competency review, the successful candidate will undertake duties in Haematology/Transfusion and be flexible on hours of working.

• HPC registered Biomedical Scientist with experience in a Haematology/Transfusion Laboratory.
• Minimum of three years previous employment.
• References available for at least two referees from the present or most recent employers.
