Care at Home Coordinator
Pay: £24,000 - £27,000 per year pro rata (depending on experience/qualifications)
Hours:
Full-time / Day, Evening, Weekend, with optional overtime

We are now looking for a Care at Home Coordinator to join our growing team and help ensure the smooth delivery of care services across the region.

The Role
As Care at Home Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day coordination of care services across Edinburgh and West Lothian.
Working closely with our team of dedicated carers, you will help ensure that high standards of care are consistently delivered, while providing guidance and support to staff working across the community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating staff rotas and care packages across services
- Supporting and supervising care staff
- Ensuring service user care plans remain accurate and up to date
- Assisting with staff recruitment and retention
- Responding to issues and helping resolve them quickly and effectively
- Supporting the wider team with administrative duties
- Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota
- Working in line with the Health and Social Care Standards and SSSC Code of Practice
What We re Looking For
We re looking for someone who is organised, supportive, and passionate about delivering high-quality care services.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within the Care at Home sector
- Experience managing or coordinating staff rotas
- SVQ Level 3 in Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
We also welcome applications from individuals with experience in social care, nursing, or occupational therapy, particularly those with experience in community-based services.

Additional Information
This role requires working every second weekend.
