NHS Lothian is recruiting a Ward Clerk at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As from 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata. The advert pay scale will not change as a result.
Responsibilities- To contribute to the efficient service provision within the unit
- PVG Scheme membership/record for the relevant regulatory group (child and/or adult) or be willing to apply through Disclosure Scotland before starting in post
- Ability to demonstrate legal permission to work in the United Kingdom (as required by UKVI checks)
- Willingness to participate in reasonable adjustments to recruitment practices for disabled candidates and those with long-term conditions or neurodivergence
- Understanding that changes to criminal records checks may occur from 1 April 2025 depending on whether the role is classified as regulated
