Job Summary

Care Assistants will visit clients in their homes to provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living tasks. The role requires compassion, reliability, and a commitment to supporting wellbeing and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene needs
  • Provide food and drink support
  • Carry out manual handling and palliative care duties
  • Support with light domestic tasks
  • Administer medication as required
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Run errands such as shopping or collecting prescriptions
Candidate Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own car (required)
  • Care Certificate (preferred; training provided if not held)
  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous support worker experience (preferred, minimum 1 year)
  • Must have UK work authorisation (sponsorship/visa switch not available)
  • Willingness to travel (50% required)
  • Paid mileage (25p per mile between calls)
