Accuracy Checking Technician Pharmacy Manager

Position Overview

Dears Pharmacy is a group of pharmacies across Glasgow, the Lothians and Fife. We are expanding in Edinburgh and are looking for an Accuracy Checking Technician Branch Manager to take a lead role and work closely with the pharmacist, dispensers and front counter team.

• Support and develop the business in the retail area and the delivery of a wide range of services.
• Check prescriptions, nomads, care home production and send prescriptions electronically to our dispensing hubs.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy management team, and train and develop team members as needed.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Genuine interest in pharmacy operations and a willingness to learn.

• 37.5 hours per week on average (part‑time hours of 32 hours minimum considered).
• Rota:
Monday‑Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm, Saturdays 9:00am – 5:00pm on rotation.

• Training in private services such as Tympa Ear Microsuction and phlebotomy.
• Wide range of PGD services through Pharmadoctor.
• Opportunity to train further for the right candidate.
• Support for training and development as part of the pharmacy management team.
