We’re looking for a vibrant, big-hearted Wellbeing Coordinator who’s ready to make a real difference — not just with activities, but with moments that matter.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be the driving force behind a culture of joy, connection, and compassion. You’ll design and deliver meaningful wellbeing experiences that get people smiling, moving, reminiscing, and thriving. As a Dementia Ambassador, you’ll also be a powerful voice for understanding, inclusion, and dignity — helping everyone feel seen, heard, and valued.

, turning its principles into lived, everyday magic. Think laughter-filled sessions, calming spaces, confidence-boosting interactions, and creative ways to support mind, body, and soul. No two days will look the same — that’s exactly how you like it.
- Work with the Home Manager, Head of Dementia & Lead Happieness Ambassador to engage with and fully implement Advinia’s Happieness & Wellbeing programme and embed the whole home approach to activities.
- Support the Community Engagement Framework alongside the wider team to build community links and promote community events such as Intergenerational sessions, Coffee Mornings, Open Days and Cultural Celebrations.
- Develop, manage and coordinate a regular, varied calendar of group activities, in collaboration with the Residents, that are person-centred and meaningful to help maintain hobbies and interests and meet holistic needs.
- Plan individualised 1:1 Sessions for Residents as appropriate and engage with ongoing life story work to help inform the activity programme and person-centred care planning.
- Manage the activity budget in conjunction with the Home Manager to ensure the provision of resources, outings and entertainment and undertake fundraising opportunities to supplement as appropriate.
- Maximise the use of resources that are available to support with provision of meaningful engagement opportunities. Ensure risk assessments are completed for all activities and outings and reviewed as appropriate.
- Support all Colleagues to become Dementia Friends.
- Offer signposting to family members to Admiral Nurse services, local carer groups, tide, Alzheimer’s Society etc.
- Maintain stock of Dementia Publications.
- Assist Home Manager in completing Dementia Environment Audit.
- Be responsible for making community links with dementia charities/ organisations.
- Be aware of latest best practice and new initiatives by way of attending monthly Wellbeing Forums and liaising with Head of Dementia and Lead Happieness Ambassador.
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English.
- Confidence using technology.
- Experience of Dementia – either personal or professional.
- Energetic, compassionate, and full of creative ideas.
- A natural people‑person who can light up a room.
- Passionate about wellbeing, inclusion, and person‑centred care.
- Confident leading activities — from lively group sessions to calm one‑to‑one time.
- Organised enough to make the magic happen consistently.
