Clinical Lead - North of Scotland Child & Adolescent Neurology Network (NeSCANN)
1 PA or 4 hours per week until end March 2027, where continuation will be reviewed.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Lead for the North of Scotland Child & Adolescent Neurology Network (NeSCANN). The network supports children and adolescents with neurological conditions across 6 Health Board areas in the North of Scotland region. Multi-disciplinary teams of staff are based in Grampian, Highland, Orkney, Shetland, Tayside and Western Isles and work closely with local medical, nursing and AHP professionals to provide inpatient services, out‑patient clinics, investigations and treatments.
The successful postholder will require the knowledge and skills to work across traditional Health Board boundaries and organisations to progress the NeSCANN services in the North of Scotland region to ensure services are equitable and accessible for paediatric patients.
Applicants should have extensive clinical knowledge, skills and experience in the provision of neurological care to children and adolescents with the leadership skills required to motivate, inspire and drive improvements in service provision through change management within a complex regional environment. Applicants should be senior clinical professionals within the NHS in the North of Scotland.
The appointment will be until end March 2027 and will be reviewed thereafter. The commitment required is 1 PA / 4 hours per week.
