Weekend Domestic Assistant

Overview

Manor Grange Care Home is a purpose-built 83-bed care home located in the Pinkhill area of Edinburgh, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative care. The home offers a well-established and supportive environment where team members can deliver high quality, person-centred care as part of a professional and dedicated team.

Domestic Assistant – Contract

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene and presentation.
• Support laundry services and ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.
• Follow infection control, health and safety, and cleaning procedures; complete tasks safely and in line with required standards.
• Contribute to a well-organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.

• A positive and reliable approach
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to approximately 15 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
