Phlebotomist Career Opportunity in Edinburgh with Phlebotomy Trained Staff – Ongoing Position, Competitive Salary £17 Per Hour Weekdays, £20 Per Hour Saturdays, £23 Per Hour Sundays through Umbrella. Join us in a flexible role with attractive hourly rates and an engaging work environment within the picturesque and lively city of Edinburgh. You will be working in mobile units, collecting blood samples from volunteers for testing with full-time and part-time shift options available, including Monday to Friday and Sundays.

What you will do
  • Collect blood samples from volunteers with the highest level of care and professionalism.
  • Ensure all samples are properly labelled and stored, maintaining strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Travel to various locations in Edinburgh including Straiton, Livingston and Withburn.
  • Attend induction sessions as scheduled to ensure you are fully prepared for site-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide excellent patient service and support.

In order to succeed in this role, it is crucial that candidates hold current venepuncture, cannulation, or blood drawing competencies and can provide necessary certificates along with CV and PVG certificates.

Shift Pattern
  • Monday – Friday: 07:50 – 18:10
  • Sunday: 10:50 – 15:55
  • Saturday:
    Currently no scheduled appointments, with potential for introduction later in the project.
