The Scottish Ambulance Service is a vital part of NHS Scotland, delivering urgent care and support to more than five million people across the country. We're looking for a motivated, caring Vaccinators to join our Vaccination Team and help expand access to immunisations across Scotland. This service delivers a wide range of vaccinations, with a particular focus on reaching remote, rural, and under-served communities. In this role, you'll play a key part in protecting public health and helping to reduce health inequalities—while working as part of a supportive, professional team.
The post sits within the Infection Prevention and Control Department (Clinical Quality & Professional Development Directorate). You will be supported day-to-day within the service and report to the National Vaccination Operation Manager.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful applicant must:
- Be a Registered Health Care Professional
- Have completed the TURAS modules Promoting Effective Immunisation Practice (PEIP) :
Registered Healthcare Practitioners learning programme - Flue modules
- Have experience working within vaccination services
- Be proactive and able to work well as part of a team
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with C1 or D1 category
