Personal Assistant - (NA)

To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

This role involves overnight support.

Our client is a 36-year-old female living in Broomhouse, Edinburgh who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support with al daily living tasks.

Our client is a fulltime wheelchair and hoist user with several different health conditions which requires our client to have 24-hour care & support.

• Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
• Attend medical appointments
• Personal care:
  Support with all personal care, Support with all medication and Urostomy Care.
• Domestic duties:
  Support with preparing, cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks.
• These duties may vary from day-to-day.

We are looking for someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel and understands equality and diversity.

Someone with care experience would be preferred. Epi Pen & First Aid training preferred but training can be provided.

Due to the nature of this role including personal care the potential employer will be considering female applicants only.

6 hours + 18 night-time hours – days to be discussed at interview

£15.72 per hour + £13.07 per hour during the night.

This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
