Care Assistant Bank

Colinton Care Home is located in Edinburgh's Merchiston area offering nursing, respite, palliative, and dementia care to up to 53 residents.

• £13.60 per hour
• Bank contract Available
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

The care we provide is built around kindness, dignity and meaningful human connection, and as a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in helping residents feel safe, comfortable and supported every single day.

Working as part of a close knit team, you will support residents with daily routines, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing while encouraging independence wherever possible. Every interaction matters, and the care you provide will help ensure residents continue to feel valued, respected and cared for in a warm and welcoming environment.

• A kind, compassionate and respectful approach towards others

• Previous care experience or NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is beneficial but not essential
