Night Care Assistant

Gilmerton Care Home, located in the peaceful south of Edinburgh, offers exceptional residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care. Our home provides a warm, family-like environment with modern, comfortable living spaces, engaging activities, and personalised care plans. • £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 38.5 hours per week
• night shift available
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Working as part of a close knit team, you will support residents with daily routines, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing while encouraging independence wherever possible. Every interaction matters, and the care you provide will help ensure residents continue to feel valued, respected and cared for in a warm and welcoming environment.

• Previous care experience or SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is beneficial but not essential
