We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Band 5 Physiotherapy Rotation Programme within NHS Lothian.

This structured rotational post offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, community and rehabilitation services, with six-monthly rotations designed to support your professional development and broaden your clinical skills.

Rotations may include:
Acute Orthopaedics;
Neurological and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation;
Cardiac Rehabilitation;
Mental Health;
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy;
Physiotherapy@Home;
Locality Hub Services;
Bed-Based Intermediate Care and Day Hospital Services

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment, supporting patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals and maximise their independence.

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to delivering person-centred care. You will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with patients, carers and colleagues.

It is essential you have a Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy and are HCPC registration.

To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service. This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record.
