Salary: £13.45 per hour, rising from year two, plus sleepovers at £131.14 per night

Main purpose of the roleAs a Care and Support Worker, you will provide one-to-one support to people with learning disabilities living in a variety of settings, in line with agreed support and care plans, in all aspects of their everyday lives, while enabling them to lead a full and active life at home and in the community.
You will deliver practical, physical and emotional support to people with learning disabilities, whilst proactively promoting choice, independence and self-determination.
Person Centred SupportYou will:
- Provide high-quality support to people with learning disabilities in line with L’Arche values, policies and procedures;
You will:
- Assist with the personal hygiene, dress and health needs of individuals in their home;
- Facilitate individuals to meet their leisure, social, practical and spiritual needs;
- Encourage individuals in their ongoing development of independence;
You will:
- Foster positive relationships with both assistants and people with a learning disability;
- Assist in celebrations and support spiritual life so that there is an atmosphere of welcome and friendship;
