We are looking for a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our new and exciting Experts at Hand pathway to work in education provisions.

Main Duties of the JobSpeech and Language Therapists are core to the efficient service delivery that we provide to children, young people and their families.
As a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will jointly lead the implementation of the Government's Experts at Hand initiative. Working closely with schools, you will support the development of communication-friendly environments that enable children and young people to thrive.
You will develop training programmes and resources, including packages that can be used by assistants and schools to run language groups independently. A key part of the role will involve building the skills and confidence of assistants, education staff, and other support professionals providing guidance and coaching for them to deliver the packages developed
Working in partnership with the Local Authority, you will help ensure that schools access the appropriate level of support and that interventions are delivered effectively. You will monitor outcomes, provide feedback, and contribute to the oversight of the programme.
The role also involves close collaboration with Occupational Therapists and other professionals, as well as schools and educational settings, to ensure a coordinated approach for children and young people.

Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.
The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmayes Hospital.
This post will be subject to a probationary period.
High Cost Area Supplement- Outer London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,870 and a maximum payment of £6,1371 - per annum, pro rata for part time)
OR
High Cost Area Supplement- Fringe
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £1,346 and a maximum payment of £2,270 per annum, pro rata for part time)
