Cygnet Group is looking for a compassionate and confident Day Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Nightingale.Working full-time, 42 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, you'll play a vital role in helping the people we support live fulfilling, rewarding lives in a safe and nurturing environment.
Your Day-to-Day...- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients and residents
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
- Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required
- Safeguard those in our care
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
- Support service users with community-based activities and appointments, including driving when required
- Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people's lives
- An excellent communicator and a good team player
- Sensitive and intuitive, with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating and varied environment
- Committed to empowering and supporting service user independence
- In possession of a full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years

- Salary: £13.45 per hour Increasing to £13.75 per hour after 3 months.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and must hold a full UK driving licence that has been valid for at least 2 years.
