HRC is recruiting experienced Carers across Edinburgh - and we're looking for people who genuinely enjoy making a difference.

What will you be doing?

Every day is different, but you'll be helping the people we support to live as independently and confidently as possible.

Your role could include:

Providing emotional and practical support and encouraging individuals to achieve their personal goals.
Supporting people to get involved in meaningful activities.
Building positive relationships and helping people to enjoy a good quality of life.
Working as part of a team to provide support in line with individual care plans.
Supporting with personal care, medication and daily living tasks, always maintaining dignity, respect and choice.
Recognising and reporting any changes in an individual's physical or emotional wellbeing.
Keeping clear and accurate records of the support you provide.

Could this be you?

We're looking for people who are:

Kind, caring and compassionate
Positive, reliable and genuinely passionate about supporting others
Confident communicating and building trusting relationships
Happy being busy, active and hands-on
Experienced - you'll need at least 6 months' UK care experience
A valid UK driving licence holder
