About Nuffield Health Edinburgh Hospital

Since opening in 2008, our hospital has been at the heart of healthcare in Edinburgh, providing fast, convenient access to specialist consultations, diagnostic services and day-case treatments.

Following our acquisition by Nuffield Health in 2022, we have built on this strong foundation while remaining committed to what matters most: delivering outstanding care in a safe, comfortable and compassionate environment where every patient feels valued.

Today, we are investing heavily in our people, facilities and services, with ambitious plans that will enhance patient care, expand access and establish the hospital as a leading healthcare destination in Scotland.

We were founded in 2008 to offer fast access for outpatient consultation, on-site diagnostic imaging, and day-case surgical treatment, all close to the heart of Scotland’s capital. Since the day we opened our doors we’ve been proud to deliver on our aim: to provide first-class independent healthcare for the local community in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment; one in which we would be happy to treat our own families.

Helping

you feel good.

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. That’s why we’ve developed a benefits package with you in mind. With financial wellbeing support, a cycle to work scheme, gym membership, private healthcare and more – at Nuffield Health, we’ll take care of what’s important to you.
