Pay: £30,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience)

Come and join our happy, supportive HR team. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional HR support to The Royal Yacht Britannia, the UK’s leading five-star visitor attraction, and its sister ship, Fingal, our award winning five-star hotel.

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager, you will be part of a close-knit team of four HR professionals, based upon Britannia, supporting a 24/7 operation with around 200 employees.
Your role will include:- Providing practical, day-to-day HR advice to managers across the full employee life cycle
- Supporting on ER matters including investigations, absence and disciplinary processes
- Opportunities to develop and review HR policies and procedures
- Supporting with the management and development of our HR system
- Getting involved in organisation-wide HR projects as we continue to develop our employee experience

What you’ll Bring- An understanding of employment law and best practice
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- An ability to develop into a rounded HR professional and an inquiring mind
- A degree in Human Resources or CIPD Level 5 or 7

Ocean Terminal, Leith, Edinburgh – you must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting (essential). Please be aware that this role does not meet the requirements for a skilled worker visa.
