What you’ll be doing

You’llbe joining our amazing People & Culture team, a close-knit group of eight professionals working alongside our dedicated Talent team. Together, we look after the full employee lifecycle for around 250 employees, ensuring that people are supported, engaged, and able to thrive.

In this role,you’llbe our People Operations Manager, you will provide professional HR support and guidance to employees,management and the wider business. You willbe responsible for supporting and advising managers on employment matters such as performance management, ER cases, disciplinary and grievance and absence and any consultation projects.

You’llalso have the chance tolead and contribute to a widerange of People & Culture projects, giving you broad exposure across HR and the opportunity to make a real and lasting impact.

Some projects already on our 2026 planner include, New Performance Management process, integration projects as part of our ongoing Merger and Acquisition plans.

We work in a hybrid way, andyou’llbe expected to spend at least one day a week ineither our Edinburgh office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support culture-building initiatives that promote our organisational values and behaviors.
  • Partner with managers and employees across the business to provide focused HR advice and guidance.
  • Lead complex employee relations cases end-to-end, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
  • Play a key role in People change initiatives, including merger and acquisition integration and performance and bonus framework enhancements.
  • Support organisational change and consultation processes, ensuring a positive and well-communicated employee experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement across People systems and processes, including ongoing development of Net Suite People.
  • Produce and analyse People data and metrics, providing insight to support decision-making at leadership level.
  • Support statutory reporting and audit requirements.
  • Remain adaptable in a fast-paced, growing business, flexing priorities to support team and organisational needs.
  • Managing a small team of Business Operation Partners.

  • Strong ER experience.

The desired qualification for this role is CIPD Associate level 5, ideally with additional specialism in Organisation Development or Change Management.
