Senior HR Consultant (Pay, Benefits & Pensions)

Location:

Waverley Court.

Salary: £46,023 - £54,476.

Hours:

36 per week, 52 weeks.

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Senior HR Consultant to play a key role within our Payroll, Benefits & Pension Team to manage end‑to‑end payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant salary payments for all staff and all third‑party payments.

Job Overview

Exciting opportunity available within our HR Payroll, Benefits & Pension team as we are recruiting for one permanent position. Working pattern for the position is Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a specialist team of Payroll, Benefits & Pension specialists to ensure delivery of payroll/benefit services and operations to employees, managers and external customers.
  • Support the ongoing development of services (including the benefits platform) and provision to colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
  • Deliver regulatory compliance with statutory bodies through robust controls and measures, whilst also fulfilling high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Support wider HR projects and initiatives that support the Council’s strategic objectives.

Additional Information

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. We are happy to discuss flexible working.
