But at the heart of our business is our people.

Role Purpose

We're looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our HR team based at Edinburgh Airport. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be a visible presence across our operations, partnering with managers and supporting colleagues on a wide range of people matters.

This role is ideally suited to an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, is resilient under pressure, and has significant experience managing a high‑volume employee relations caseload.

What you will be doing
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on a broad range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, and capability cases.
  • Managing a varied and often complex ER caseload from start to finish.
  • Developing effective working relationships with local Trade Union representatives and supporting the maintenance of positive industrial relations across the business.
  • Supporting managers in the application and interpretation of collective agreements and agreed terms and conditions.
  • Representing HR at consultation meetings and supporting engagement with recognised Trade Unions on operational and people‑related matters.
  • Coaching and supporting managers to build confidence and capability in handling people issues.
  • Supporting organisational change initiatives and consultation processes where required.
  • Ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation, collective agreements, and company policy.
  • Analysing people trends and identifying opportunities to improve employee engagement, attendance, and performance.
  • Building strong working relationships with operational teams through a highly visible on‑site presence.
  • Driving Employee Engagement at all levels, enabling a culture of trust, respect and equal opportunities for all.
Safety, Security, Wellbeing and Compliance

You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. The company is committed to providing a safe working environment for all staff members. In all areas of our business there is a potential risk to the health, safety and welfare to everyone on our sites through the misuse of alcohol and drugs.

As such the Company prohibits such misuse and carries out regular testing to enforce our Substance Misuse Policy.
