HR Administrator Edinburgh | Full-Time or Part-Time (Minimum 22.5 Hours) | Permanent | Office-Based
Eden Scott is delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation in Edinburgh to recruit an HR Administrator to join their friendly and supportive HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in HR, return to the workplace, or build on existing administration experience within a busy and rewarding environment. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the HR function, acting as a first point of contact for queries and ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the onboarding process, including pre-employment checks and new starter administration
- Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems
- Assisting with recruitment administration, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and communicating with candidates
- Monitoring HR and recruitment inboxes and responding to enquiries
- Preparing employment-related documentation and correspondence
- Processing employee changes, leavers and absence records
- Supporting payroll-related administration and pension processes
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate electronic records
- Ensuring data is managed in line with GDPR requirements
- Previous administration experience, ideally within an HR or people-focused environment
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working to deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- An interest in developing a career within Human Resources would be advantageous
