Job Title and Overview

* AWS Dev Ops Engineer — 6‑month contract with possible extensions. Based in London/Hybrid. Rate: £Market rates per day via Umbrella company.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• AWS Expertise:
  Extensive hands‑on experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, Redshift, VPC, etc.) and AWS best practices.
• Git/Git Lab/Jenkins Pipelines:
  Strong command of Git/Git Lab with CI/CD workflows using Git Lab CI.
• Dev Ops Methodologies:
  In‑depth knowledge of Dev Ops principles and practices, orchestrating end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for deployment, testing, and monitoring.
• Scripting and Programming:
  Proficient in Terraform, Python, Bash, Ansible; capable of designing, coding, testing, and documenting code, conducting reviews, and promoting refactoring.
• Containerisation and Orchestration:
  Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling of containerised applications.
• Security and Compliance:
  Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud and infrastructure management, implementing robust security measures and compliance standards.
• Experience:
  
  3‑5 years as a Platform / Dev Ops Engineer with hands‑on experience.

• AWS Grafana & Prometheus

Applicants with current or past high‑level security clearance are preferred. Successful candidates must be security cleared prior to appointment, which may take a minimum of 10 weeks.
