Preservation Registry Analyst
The DPC seeks to appoint a Preservation Registry Analyst to deliver programmatic improvements in digital preservation capacity on behalf of the DPC’s global membership.
This role will work to improve the user experience and usefulness of a defined set of community-owned and community-maintained registry services and related information sources by supporting and developing a ‘Digipres Wikibase’ registry as part of the new “Building registries of digital preservation good practice” project.
Key responsibilities include enhancing existing digital preservation registries, maximizing their usefulness for practitioners and preservation services, and developing facilities to populate appropriate registries automatically or semi-automatically with good practice information.
The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed term basis for two years at a salary between £38,474 and £47,047, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent at the end of that period.
The DPC welcomes applications from around the world and is flexible about the place of employment, with most work expected to be remote.
