Senior Storage Engineer

Are you an expert in bridging the gap between enterprise storage and container orchestration? We are looking for a specialized Open Shift & Net App Storage Engineer to join our team and lead the integration of Red Hat Open Shift with high-performance Net App storage solutions.

In this role, you will be the architect of our clients hybrid cloud storage strategy, ensuring that stateful applications have the dynamic, resilient, and automated storage they need to thrive.

What You’ll Do:

• Orchestrate Storage: Install and configure the Trident CSI driver to enable seamless, automated provisioning of Persistent Volumes (PVs).
• Manage Open Shift Clusters: Take ownership of the full lifecycle of Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform (OCP), from initial installation to scaling and updates.
• Modernize Virtualization: Lead the migration of Virtual Machines (VMs) to Open Shift using Kube Virt
  , managing everything from cold to live migration processes.
• Hybrid Cloud Mastery: Manage cloud-native solutions like Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO), Azure Net App Files, and AWS FSx to maintain a consistent storage layer across environments.
• Data Resiliency: Design robust disaster recovery strategies using Trident Protect and Net App Snap Mirror

• Automate Everything: Use Ansible and Terraform to drive operational efficiency and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Required technical skill:

• Container Platforms: Deep knowledge of Open Shift architecture, node management, and the Operator Hub.
• Storage Ecosystem: Expertise in the Net App portfolio, including ONTAP
  , Flex Pod, and NFS/SAN protocols.
• Virtualization: Familiarity with migrating workloads from VMware vSphere or RHV to Open Shift Virtualization.
• Operating Systems: High proficiency in RHEL or RHEL CoreOS.
• Automation: Proven experience automating infrastructure with the Ansible Automation Platform
