PwC is seeking a developer to join our Threat Intelligence practice, building the bespoke platforms and automation that underpin our global intelligence capability.
Our Threat Intelligence team delivers research‑driven, actionable intelligence to public and private sector organisations worldwide. We track emerging intrusion techniques and hundreds of threat actors across more than 27 countries, supporting incident response, adversary emulation, managed threat hunting, and strategic security decision‑making.
In this role, you’ll design and build the tools that enable analysts to collect, analyse, and publish intelligence at pace, ensuring clients have reliable access to critical insights. This includes delivering a threat intelligence portal, integration interfaces for client platforms, bespoke research services, and intelligence support across PwC’s global cyber security practice.
What Your Days Will Look Like- Design and build scalable automation tools and data collection systems, integrating with third‑party APIs and bespoke data sources.
- Develop and maintain internal platforms, services, and RESTful APIs that support intelligence analysis, publication, and distribution.
- Contribute to systems that manage and present structured technical intelligence data.
- Collaborate with service and product owners to improve interfaces and APIs, enabling seamless integration of intelligence into client‑facing services.
- Write clean, performant, reusable frontend and backend code both manually and using AI Agents.
- Constructively review the work of your peers, reflecting critically on fit for user need as well as adherence to engineering best practices.
- Contribute to internal documentation for both technical (Dev Ops, engineering) and non‑technical (analyst, client) audiences.
- Support the ongoing evolution of our platforms as we scale globally.
- You have strong experience with Python
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and modern web technologies (HTML/CSS)
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs
- Comfort using AI tools such as Cursor and Git Hub Copilot
- Ability to write performant, maintainable, and reusable UI components
- Experience working collaboratively within globally distributed teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Type Script, React, and Node.js
- Python web and back‑end frameworks (e.g. Flask, Falcon)
- Full‑stack experience across frontend and backend systems
- Experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Familiarity with modern development practices (CI/CD, containerisation, cloud‑native architectures)
