AI Security Engineering Lead Salary Range: £92,701 - £109,060

Hours:

Full‑time – 35 hours

Working Pattern:
Hybrid – at least two days per week (40%) at an office site.

• Design and deliver secure engineering patterns, controls and tooling for AI and machine‑learning systems.
• Develop code, automation and platform solutions while embedding best practice across AI security engineering.
• Lead complex problem spaces and provide technical leadership to cross‑functional teams.
• Champion secure architectures, embed Dev Sec Ops  practices and elevate engineering capability as the organisation adopts generative AI, agentic systems and automation at scale.
• Influence security direction in collaboration with senior technical customers.

• Senior security engineering experience with a focus on AI and ML security at scale.
• Strong expertise in model lifecycle security, data pipelines and secure deployment.
• Hands‑on experience with ML stacks such as PyTorch, Tensor Flow, MLflow, Kubeflow, or equivalent managed platforms.
• Solid understanding of cloud‑native and containerised architectures, including Kubernetes and serverless technologies.
• Experience operating in complex hybrid environments spanning public cloud, private cloud and on‑premise platforms.
• Experience building automation and engineering tooling using Python, Go or similar languages.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP or cloud security accreditations are appreciated but not required.
