Join Us as a User Researcher - Be the Voice of the User

Are you passionate about understanding people and turning insights into impactful digital experiences? We're looking for a skilled and empathetic User Researcher to champion user needs and guide the creation of services that are intuitive, accessible, and inclusive. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping how we design and deliver user-centred solutions by leading research that informs every stage of the development process.

You'll work alongside UX, UI, delivery, and development teams to integrate research into every phase of the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Engage with users to understand their needs, pain points, and behaviours
Conduct interviews, focus groups, usability testing, and surveys
Use both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights and user journey maps
Create and validate user personas using ethnographic and demographic data
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including designers, developers, and stakeholders
Present research findings confidently to varied audiences
Ensure compliance with accessibility, ethical research practices, and data governance
Support iterative development cycles through continuous feedback loops

Essential Skills & Experience
Proven track record in user research within agile, product-led environments
Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research tools
Comfortable running usability testing and analysing behavioural data
Skilled in documenting findings for both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Familiarity with tools like Miro, Figma, Optimal Workshop, or similar
Understanding of accessibility and legal standards (e.g., GDPR, WCAG)

Security Clearance
BPSS or SC clearance is required
Candidates must already hold clearance or be eligible to undergo the vetting process
