Hybrid, spending at least two days per week at one of our office sites.
Group Corporate Affairs (GCA) is an award‑winning team that provides the insight, counsel and challenge the Group needs to deliver its strategic objectives. We deliver best‑in‑class communications for key audiences, ensuring Lloyds Banking Group is recognised for Helping Britain Prosper.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop understanding of what drives the Group’s corporate reputation externally, identifying drivers of reputational growth and how we can bring that to life across our campaigns and corporate audience deep dives and reputational trend analysis.
Explore and embed new analytical approaches, including AI‑enabled research, social listening, narrative testing and horizon scanning to improve the speed, depth and foresight of our insights.
Support the refinement of our measurement processes across each audience to build a more accurate representation of our current standing.
Champion insight‑led strategy, using data, technology and expert judgement to challenge assumptions, surface trade‑offs and shape campaign direction, including through presentation of latest insight developments to facilitate strategy discussions at planning forums.
Lead on production and delivery of insight projects and support strategy planning by undertaking or commissioning white space analysis, horizon scanning, market and competitor scans, and other key research pieces.
Deliver ad‑hoc insights to inform decision making, ensuring the most valuable and appropriate data is used.
Qualifications- Strong data analysis and data visualisation skills.
- Comfortable collating existing research and business knowledge to identify how to use data most optimally, identifying areas for further investigation.
- Experience of data storytelling and using analytics to influence decision making.
- Confident presenting data and insight in an engaging way that resonates with audiences and drives positive decision making across the Group.
- A good understanding of various primary research techniques and the ability to turn this information into practical insights.
- Experience with social listening and secondary research techniques, such as desk research, online media monitoring, and outputs to improve our reputation among key audiences.
- Experience experimenting and using AI‑enabled insight techniques (e.g., automated text analysis, scenario modelling, synthetic audiences) and translating outputs into clear, trusted advice for senior leaders.
- Knowledge of how political, regulatory, economic and technological developments can impact our reputational strategy.
- A curious mindset and proven experience of responsibly leveraging AI to drive efficiency and enhance creativity.
- Self‑motivated to deliver individual projects but enthusiastic about working collaboratively.
- Project management skills, including familiarity with Agile approaches.
- Supplier and budget management experience.
- Strong influencing skills – comfortable addressing and facilitating discussions with senior partners.
- Confident mentoring skills and support for team members’ development.

The location for the role will be Bristol or Edinburgh, and we’ll need you to be in one of our hubs at least two days per week. There will also be some travel required between our key GCA hubs.
