  • Document, implement and maintain analytical metrics and reporting
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into the appropriate analytical approaches
  • Apply measurement frameworks to collect data for digital analytics and similar data platforms
  • Take part in peer code/analysis reviews
  • Participate in in-house 2nd or 3rd line support of analytical applications, working with colleagues in IT and operations
  • Follow analytics development best practices including version control, testing, and documentation
  • Use AI to augment your work for improved efficiency and quality of output
As part of a cross-functional analytics team
  • Contribute to analytics programmes and projects
  • Work with colleagues to translate business requirements into analytics designs and support delivery of solutions
  • Help with continuous improvement of data analysis and analytics processes and capabilities
  • Understand and apply security and regulatory principles to data collection, management and analysis
  • Occasionally you will be involved in the recruitment process for data analyst roles, including reviewing applications, assessments, and participating in interviews
Skills and Experience
  • Python, R, or Power BI - proficiency in one or more of these tools is essential
  • Data analysis techniques: ability to investigate, clean, and interpret complex datasets
  • Familiarity with modern BI and analytics platforms
  • Understanding of analytics development best practices (version control, testing, documentation)
  • Awareness and interest in digital analytics
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of data security and regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR)
  • Familiarity with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Desirable
