Role PurposeThe SOC Operations Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of 24x7 SOC operations, leading analysts and team leads to ensure consistent, high-quality monitoring, investigation, and response for managed security services.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage SOC Analysts and Team Leads to ensure effective 24x7 service delivery.
- Ensure shift coverage, escalation clarity, and adherence to SOC operating procedures.
- Oversee investigation quality, timeliness, and consistency across analysts.
- Coordinate operational response during security incidents and major events.
- Support analysts with guidance and decision-making during high-pressure situations.
- Ensure SOC operations align with defined SLAs, SLOs, and service expectations.
- Work closely with SOC Engineering & Quality to reduce noise and improve workflows.
- Collaborate with Cyber Ops Engineering and Platform Engineering on operational feedback.
- Monitor operational KPIs and contribute to service performance reporting.
- Support continuous improvement of SOC processes and analyst capability.
- Strong background in security operations and SOC delivery.
- Ability to lead teams in a 24x7 operational environment.
- Excellent judgement under pressure.
- Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
