We are now looking for a Senior Campus IT & AV Technician to join our team—someone who is passionate about technology, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is ready to step into a leadership role that makes a real impact across our campuses.
The RoleYou will lead the delivery of IT and AV services across campus, ensuring teaching, learning and meeting spaces are modern, reliable and fit for purpose. In addition you will be supporting in-person, a wide variety of our IT client devices including laptops, desktops and mobile devices. This is a hands‑on role supporting physical learning environments, with regular rotation between sites, giving you the opportunity to work across a diverse range of environments while building strong relationships with colleagues and users.
Alongside leading service delivery, you’ll support and develop a team of technicians, manage workloads, and take ownership of key technologies or service areas. You’ll work collaboratively across Information Services to drive projects and continuous improvement, maintain accurate asset and service records, and ensure all incidents and requests are resolved within agreed service levels. You’ll also deputise for the Campus IT & AV Manager as required.

You’ll bring a strong mix of technical expertise, leadership and management capability and a customer‑focused mindset, alongside:
- Experience supporting IT and AV technologies in complex environments
- A proactive approach to service improvement and problem‑solving
- Confidence in leading, supporting and developing others
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Experience working with service management and/or asset management systems
- A genuine interest in improving digital and physical learning environments
- An ITIL Foundation qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Line management and overseeing of day to day work
