Essential skills/knowledge/experience
Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data products
Align data models with enterprise/federated data architecture standards
Define data entities, relationships, and business rules
Collaborate with Data Analysts to translate business requirements into structured data models
Guide Data Engineers on data structures and data granularity requirements
Ensure consistency, reusability, and scalability of models across domains
Support governance, lineage, and metadata management practices
Key Responsibilities- Strong experience in data modelling (3NF, dimensional, Data Vault – good to have)
- Expertise in modelling for data lakes and modern cloud platforms
- Knowledge of AWS ecosystem, Snowflake, or similar storage platforms
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka) and streaming data
- Strong understanding of data governance and metadata frameworks
