Infrastructure Engineer – Crypto Lab

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise Secrets, Keys and Certificates (SKC) services across multi‑cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Deliver secure cryptographic solutions that enable application teams to protect data, identities, and business transactions.
• Support the lifecycle management of secrets, encryption keys, and digital certificates through automated and self‑service capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, architecture, and security teams to integrate cryptographic services into new and existing platforms.
• Drive the adoption of security procedures, cryptographic standards, and secure‑by‑design principles across technology teams.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of cloud‑native security capabilities, including key management, certificate automation, and secrets management services.
• Support operational resilience through monitoring, incident management, problem resolution, and continuous service improvement activities.
• Work with internal team members and external vendors to deliver strategic security initiatives and platform improvements.
• Craft and maintain technical documentation, standards, and mentorship to support effective service adoption and governance.
• Find opportunities to simplify processes, improve automation, and enhance the overall developer experience for consumers of cryptographic services.
• Contribute to regulatory, audit, and risk management activities relating to cryptographic controls and security services.
• Support innovation initiatives and emerging technologies, including cloud transformation, digital identity, and distributed ledger platforms.

• Working knowledge and hands‑on experience employing up‑to‑date development methods and technologies.
• Working knowledge and hands‑on experience of key Sec Dev Ops  concepts, tooling and programming/scripting languages.
• Experience with source control (Git Hub), IDE/interactive development environments, command line interface (CLI), Bash, Python.
• Experience with Terraform, Harness, Azure Dev Ops, containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, and PaaS cloud platforms (Azure and Google Cloud Platform).
• Previous experience working in financial services organisations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Cloud and/or security certifications.
• Experience working within a technical/engineering team.

Proficient in collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive security initiatives and enhance cloud‑native security capabilities.
