Job Description

This role runs our testing program and turns media performance and test results into insight-led guidance that shapes smarter decision-making. As Associate Director – Performance Analytics on the Entain account, you will play a critical role in turning test ideas into robust experimentation, and analysing performance data to inform channel performance optimisation, targeting, planning and near-term strategic direction across multiple brands.

Your focus is on shaping our testing program and leading platform data analysis to uncover patterns, and steering investment & optimisation decisions through insight. Reporting into the Data Strategy BD, you will act as a senior analytics advisor‑connecting key commercial outcomes (player acquisition, deposits, retention and revenue) with media intelligence (incrementality testing, audience strategies, optimisation decisions and cross‑channel reach) to uncover actionable insights that drive media investment, optimisation and strategic decision‑making.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the operationalisation of our testing program: driving the application of the cross-team process, the adoption of the tools like the testing template & tracker by internal team and clients, the review of results and identification of best practices and sharing with clients
  • Designing and evaluating test‑and‑learn initiatives (e.g. A/B tests, geo experiments, lift studies) with the support of measurement & channel specialists to evidence incremental contribution of paid media.
  • Producing clear, actionable insights from online platforms performance, cross‑channel campaign results and audience data analysis to support activation teams inform targeting, channel selection and media planning decisions.
  • Developing best practice analysis and short‑term performance forecasts.
  • Translating complex analysis into concise recommendations aligned with wider strategic objectives.
  • Partnering with Planning, Strategy, and Client Service teams to ensure data informs investment and optimisation—not just measurement.
  • Acting as the central analytics point of contact for Entain, guiding internal and client stakeholders on performance analytics interpretation and implications.
Required:
  • Expertise in both campaign performance analytics (incrementality testing methods, attribution, KPI tracking, forecasting) and audience analytics (segmentation, targeting, cross‑channel reach).
  • Good statistical knowledge: sampling, and hypothesis testing, descriptive statistics, and correlation analysis.
  • Deep understanding of digital media channels, measurement methodologies, performance marketing, and paid/organic social media.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), and data management platforms (BQ, Snowflake).
  • Experience with analytics and media tools: DV360, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Nielsen, Ad Server, Apps Flyer, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills: able to translate complex analytics into actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience influencing media targeting, campaign decisions, or strategy through analytics.
Desirable:
  • Experience in gaming, sports betting, or entertainment sector analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or other statistical/programming languages.
  • Experience with data platforms (CDPs/DMPs) and Mar Tech/AdTech stacks.
  • Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Experience with omnichannel attribution, consumer journey optimisation or performance marketing
