Data Analyst

Recann is recruiting a Data Analyst for an established technology business that works with large retail and telecoms brands across Europe. The team is growing to support a major new client.

This role is about turning data into decks that clients use. You'll take data from a wide range of sources, work out what it means, and present it in clear, well-designed PowerPoint presentations and Power BI dashboards. The account managers take these straight to clients. If you enjoy designing a slide as much as writing the query behind it, this is for you.

• Build client-ready PowerPoint decks that tell a clear story from the data
• Design Power BI dashboards that clients use to track performance
• Extract and analyse data using SQL Server, including stored procedures
• Find the insight that matters, and present it in a way non-technical people can act on
• Use AI tools and automation to speed up reporting

• Around one to two years' experience in an analyst role
• A strong eye for visual design in PowerPoint and Power BI, with work you can show
• Working SQL
• Strong Excel
• Confidence presenting findings to clients and senior stakeholders

Useful but not essential: R or Python, insurance sector knowledge, Google Cloud Platform experience.
