Help turn business challenges into practical AI opportunities at Royal London. We’re looking for a Senior AI Proposition Analyst to join our growing AI Product Management team within our AI Centre of Enablement, bringing together product thinking, user insight and hands‑on AI experience to shape how we use AI across the business.
You’ll focus on the early stages of the AI change journey: understanding problems, exploring possibilities and shaping use cases before they move into delivery. Working with business and technology colleagues, you’ll run discovery workshops and user testing, and build quick prototypes to connect user needs with opportunities for AI, within a team that supports discovery, delivery and adoption.
What you’ll be doing:- Work with colleagues across the business including senior stakeholders and domain expert, to understand their priorities, challenges and users’ needs.
- Lead discovery end to end, translating business problems into clear outcomes, potential AI opportunities and well‑defined use cases.
- Plan and facilitate workshops and ideation sessions, helping teams explore where AI could make a difference, and where it won’t.
- Use research and user insight to inform and refine emerging ideas.
- Shape AI propositions with business experts and technology colleagues, considering value, feasibility, risk and responsible AI, and preparing opportunities for the next stage of delivery.
- Work in an agile, iterative way, moving quickly from problem to sight, to tested idea.
- Build shared understanding between business and technology teams through clear, informed conversations about AI.
You’ll bring experience in product, proposition, design or user experience, alongside practical exposure to AI. You’ll have the ability to understand users, explore business problems and shape ideas into meaningful opportunities.
We’d like to hear from you if you can bring:
- Experience in opportunity discovery and early‑stage product or proposition shaping.
- A collaborative approach to working with stakeholders and understanding business problems and translating them into clear outcomes.
- Experience planning and running user research and testing sessions to inform decisions.
- Experience working in agile, iterative ways, testing ideas quickly and learning from the results.
- An understanding of AI and data concepts, and comfortable getting hands‑on: using AI tools day to day and building working prototype with AI coding or low‑code tools. You don’t need to be a designer or developer.
- The ability to connect business needs with technology opportunities and explain AI concepts to different audiences.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Cowork or Microsoft Foundry would be useful, but experience with a particular platform is not essential.
You don’t need to be a data scientist or a deep technical specialist. You’ll need enough practical AI experience to discuss the technology with business and technical colleagues. Financial services experience isn’t essential either: you’ll work alongside business experts rather than being expected to arrive with specialist pensions or financial product knowledge.
This is an opportunity to help shape new AI use cases, rather than maintain established products. You’ll work with colleagues across Royal London, bringing together discovery, design, experimentation and AI in a growing product team. If you enjoy exploring possibilities and turning user insight into practical ideas, we’d like to hear from you.
If you feel you’d be a great fit for Royal London but don’t meet every requirement, we’d still…
