An established Scottish law firm is seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join its leading Private Client team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurial families on complex and rewarding matters.

The Role

The successful candidate will work with clients on a range of issues including:

• Asset protection, succession and tax planning
• Business and family governance
• Trusts, partnerships and family investment companies
• Philanthropy and charitable giving
• Estate planning, wills and powers of attorney

You will manage your own caseload, collaborate with senior colleagues and liaise with a network of external advisors including tax specialists and wealth managers. There is also scope to contribute to thought leadership and business development.

About You

• Newly qualified solicitor with experience in private client or commercial environments
• Confident in dealing with trusts and high-net-worth clients
• Detail-oriented, commercially aware and client-focused
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Committed to ongoing learning - STEP qualification encouraged
• Able to manage a varied workload with professionalism and care
