Priority Areas Real Estate
- Acting for developers, investors, funders, landlords, and corporate occupiers. Strong appetite for partners in commercial property, development, investment, and energy‑related real estate.
- Commercial litigation, property disputes, financial services litigation, and regulatory investigations. Experience handling complex, multi‑party disputes with cross‑border elements is highly valued.
- M&A, private equity, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and technology/outsourcing. Strong interest in partners with established relationships in the Scottish mid‑market or regulated sectors.
- A credible partner‑level profile with an established client following or demonstrable market influence. Strong commercial instincts and the ability to deliver pragmatic, solutions‑focused advice. A collaborative mindset and appetite to contribute to the growth of the Edinburgh office and wider national practice. Commitment to mentoring and developing junior lawyers within a supportive team environment.
- National strength with genuine Scottish autonomy. Excellent cross‑sell opportunities across real estate, energy, transport, finance.
