The continued success of the team has led to an increase in the number value of key mandates, and we are looking to recruit a Construction lawyer to join our Scotland team to work on a variety of non-contentious construction matters. This includes acting for Developers, Lenders, Landlords, Tenants, PPP's and Public Sector Bodies across a range of JCT, NEC, other standard form contracts and bespoke terms.
There is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in transactional delivery, client relationship development and continued expansion of the team and practice.
What You'll Do:- You will be based within our Glasgow or Edinburgh office, and you will be required to be in the office a minimum of three days per week.

- Top quality construction mandates: Our market leading construction team continues to grow the mandates on which it acts both for existing and new clients. You will have plenty of opportunity to assist in pitching for work and helping to manage client relationships.
- The team has a strong reputation for providing associates with early levels of responsibility within a supportive and stretching environment and therefore you can expect to take a leading role on some matters. At this stage in your career the team will take a genuine interest and support you with your development therefore offering excellent career prospects.
- You will be assisting in the drafting of and advising clients on a range of construction issues and documentation including consultant appointments, warranties, construction and development contracts, in a range of sectors including living, office, retail life sciences, energy industrials and transport.
- Have at least 12 months + experience within construction law, seeking a new challenge with a non-contentious focus.
- Enthusiasm, proactivity, and a drive to develop professionally.
- A willingness to contribute to the success and development of the team.
- An ability to deliver concise & practical legal advice.
- Exceptional newly qualified candidates will also be considered.
