Paralegal

Service Care Solutions are looking for 7 Paralegal to help work on the COVID-19 Public Inquiry, you will support the legal team, including solicitors and counsel, by providing essential investigative and legal assistance. This role involves working in a dynamic, high-volume environment, where attention to detail and analytical skills are critical. The position is a agency contract lasting 12 months.

• Assisting solicitors and Counsel with evidence analysis and management
• Preparing reports, briefing documents, and supporting legal documentation
• Supporting briefing teams on witness evidence collection
• Preparing and reviewing Core Participant documentation
• Cross-checking documents prior to publication and managing red actions
• Liaising closely with legal professionals across investigations
• Providing flexible support within the wider paralegal team to ensure efficient case progression

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical, research, and note-taking skills
• Experience working within a legal environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Scots law

Full time - hybrid working 2 days in the office a week, rest from home (35hrs a week)
