Practice​/Legal Secretary

Meraki Talent is working with leading Law firm based in Edinburgh, looking for a Legal Secretary to join their team.

You will have exposure supporting fee-earners, dealing with all aspects of administration and coordination. This will suit someone who enjoys delivering exceptional client services and is very proactive.

• Diary management for multiple fee-earners.
• Travel management across UK and Internationally
• Prepare draft emails on behalf of fee earners.
• Review documents and edit where necessary.
• Creation of documents ahead of meetings, including presentations, bids, tenders.
• Organise client entertainment, including lunches, dinners as well as conferences and seminars.
• Supporting with internal team events, including training sessions, lunch and learns and social events.
• Preparation of agendas and meeting papers.
• Responsible for inbox management.
• Undertake research ahead of fee earner meetings.
• Conducting AML checks where necessary.

• At least 18months experience in a similar role within a Legal environment.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communication, including written and verbal communication.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use own initiative and exhibit a professional approach during challenging situations.
