Solicitor​/Senior Solicitor - Family

Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Salary: £58,000 to £70,000

We are partnered with a long established and highly regarded Edinburgh firm to recruit a Family solicitor to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ideally 2 to 5 years PQE solicitor who is looking to further develop their career within one of Edinburgh's most respected specialist family law teams. The team advises on a broad range of family law matters and is well known for it's high quality client service, collaborative culture and strong reputation in the Scottish market.

Joining an experienced department with significant expertise at all levels, you'll benefit from genuine support, access to high quality work and clear opportunities for progression as the team continues to expand.

You will manage your own caseload with an increasing level of autonomy while working closely with experienced colleagues on a range of complex and rewarding matters.

Your work will include:

• Financial provision on separation and divorce
• High net work and complex financial cases
• Child residence and contact matters
• Separation agreements
• Sheriff Court proceedings
• Supporting clients through sensitive family law matters with professionalism and care

Alongside your casework, you'll be encouraged to contribute to the continued growth of the department, developing strong relationships with clients and professional contacts and helping raise the profile of the team within the market.

You will be:

• Scottish qualified with 2 to 5 years PQE in family law
• Confident managing your own matters with minimal supervision
• Experience dealing with financial provision in high net worth and/or complicated cases

Accreditation as a Family Law Specialist is advantageous, or candidates keen to work towards accreditation will also be considered favourably.
