Job Role: Cleaning Operative

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm (10 hours per week)

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Location: Edinburgh, EH12 9DQ

Reporting to: Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced cleaner to join the site cleaning team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will carry out a range of cleaning tasks safely and professionally to a high standard, demonstrate attention to detail, communicate across all levels, and provide flexibility to cover additional shifts.

DBS clearance required.

• Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed as per site instructions
• Emptying of bins and correct disposal of recycled waste
• Attending to spillages promptly to prevent accidents and ensure safety
• Following H&S and COSHH regulations
• Using site‑specific equipment, machinery and chemicals
• Proactive interaction with on‑site clients and customers, providing superb customer service
• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests

• Understanding of COSHH
• Good attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with initiative
• Flexibility to cover shifts as needed
• Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
• DBS Certificate (preferred)
