General Maintenance Technician

Overview

Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, is recruiting for a Trainee General Maintenance Technician to join the team based in Edinburgh, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries. Our team is based throughout the UK, so you’re never far from the help you need.

• Carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the maintenance routines of mobile and fixed shelving systems, stepladders, furniture and mobile trolleys.
• Carry out repairs and installation of mobile and fixed shelving systems, stepladders, furniture and mobile trolleys.
• Complete all required documentation using the handheld tablet system or customer paperwork.
• Order materials for jobs as requested by Operations Manager and/or Service Coordinator.
