Location: Edinburgh Academy Senior School, 42 Henderson Row, Edinburgh, EH3 5BL

Pay: £13.90 per hour Hours: 25 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 8:00pm
(Weekend working may be required depending on business needs)

Contract:

52 weeks / year –
not term-time only – (Including school holidays)

We’re seeking a hands‑on School Cleaning Supervisor to maintain a safe, welcoming, and high‑quality environment at Edinburgh Academy Senior School. You’ll lead by example, support your team, and ensure cleaning standards are consistently met, including dynamic and reactive cleaning tasks
.

• Lead daily cleaning operations, floor care, and reactive tasks
• Supervise and support your cleaning team, managing schedules, rotas, and training
• Conduct audits, monthly performance checks, and safety walks
• Manage cleaning materials and chemicals safely in line with COSHH
• Ensure all cleaning standards meet Sodexo and client expectations
• Monitor performance, manage resources, and report incidents
• Occasionally provide cover or work overtime as needed

• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping, preferably with supervisory experience
• Hands‑on, proactive approach with strong communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning standards, methods, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations
• Professional presentation and high personal hygiene standards
