Maintenance Manager

This role supports the hotel’s technology and IT infrastructure, ensuring that guests remain comfortable and that the hotel runs smoothly.

• Monitoring the functionality of equipment, lifts and technical facilities throughout the hotel and carefully keeping track of defects.
• Communicating, liaising and cooperating with external companies, in particular checking any maintenance work.
• Undertaking a tour of the premises every day to identify any defects in the hotel and carrying out the appropriate repair and renovation work.
• Gaining interdepartmental insights into new areas of activity by working in our multicultural teams.
• Ensuring preventive maintenance programmes are implemented and followed.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Supervising the maintenance team.
• Managing hotel health and safety compliance.
• Project‑management of external contractors.

• Completed a technical apprenticeship and/or professional experience in one or more trades or building maintenance, or a desire to change career.
• Open and communicative, pays attention to detail and interested in technology.
• Flexible, creative and possesses an excellent sense of quality, even under stress.
• Team player willing to provide assistance across departments.
